The launch of the 4060 Ti sees NVIDIA fully flesh out the RTX 40 series.
So, should you buy the RTX 4060 Ti?

The Zotac Gaming logo is illuminated with RGB lighting.
That particular card will retail for $499 $100 more than the 8GB 4060 Ti.
So, I’m glad that Zotac and other AIB partners switched back to the 8-pin connector.
It is marginally faster than the 3060 Ti, but the gains are under 10% here.

Again, not heady gains here, but that’s not what this card is about anyway.

So why would you pay for the 4060 Ti?
Even if you’re not sold on DLSS 3, there are a few positives with the 4060 Ti.
You get NVIDIA’s Reflex tech, and Broadcast is one of my favorite utilities.

Zotac’s version of the RTX 4060 Ti uses a standard two-slot design.

Thanks to a standard 8-pin connector, you don’t have to worry about 12VHPWR.

The ports are unchanged from the rest of the RTX 40 series.

Zotac did a great job carrying over its design aesthetic from the RTX 4090 to the 4060 Ti.

The back is made out of metal, and you’ll find Zotac Gaming’s tagline and logo.

The RTX 4060 Ti consumes much less power than its predecessor.

The RTX 4070 FE next to Zotac’s 4060 Ti. The 4070 is a much better option, but it costs nearly double.

The 4060 Ti has a lot to offer, but there are real limitations here.
