The hardware is excellent, but what do you actually use them for?
XREAL’s current offerings are essentially large, completely private, highly portable external monitors.
It means sitting on the couch and playing without having to look down.
When powered, the Air 2 Pro can significantly darken its lens for more immersion (and better protection from bright lights).
It certainly surprised my partner.
She had so much fun with these glasses that she quite simply has not stopped playing Minecraft since.
Trust me, that’s not the norm for her.
Minecraft on the Air 2 Pro blew away my partner, and she hasn’t stopped playing since.
Are XREAL glasses perfect?
That latterissue is one XREAL is fixing itself, though.
That can make it frustrating to navigate to your content when wearing glasses.
These glasses are solidly built, but I still treated them as if they were fragile.
Well, except for all the additional sensors XREAL has baked into these glasses.
XREAL showed me the potential of the Air 2 Ultra with a variety of demos.
One let me scroll between options with a circular motion.
The Air 2 Ultra brings real interactivity to the party.
Another let me rapidly switch between multiple sections of the demo area.
The third let me toggle options.
Especially when the XREAL Air 2 Ultra costs$699 at XREALright now.

Right now, those are the people XREAL is targeting with the first wave of Air 2 Ultra glasses.
Don’t get me wrong, thesearea luxury, but they are the best at what they do.
It’s an intriguing promise, and my demo won me over.
