Windows Central Verdict
It is a shame that Wild Hearts launched in the state it is in.
During these trying times is where you come in.
The story ofWild Heartsisnt anything too ground-breaking and the characters are somewhat simplistic.

The Kemono can range from beasts no bigger than dogs to towering behemoths the size of skyscrapers.
To help you dispatch your quarry, you have a wide array of weapons and gadgets at your disposal.
Every weapon pop in features complex move-sets, gimmicks, and playstyles to learn.
However, building Karakuri requires you to gather a resource called the Celestial Thread.

Nowhere is safe from the Kemono’s destructive elemental power.
Much like the combat-focused Basic Karakari, Wild Hearts rewards the player for experimenting with Dragon Karakuri.
One trick I like using is creating base camps along areas that a Kemono likes to visit.
Traveling the lands of Azuma is just as enjoyable as hunting monsters.

The Bow is a fast, ranged weapon that pepper Kemono with arrows while keep you mobile.
Speaking of resolution, Wild Hearts' resolution is just as lacking as the framerate.
This is when Wild Hearts is at its finest.
Unfortunately, in its current state, the graphical and framerate issues are just too big to ignore.

The Bladed Wagasa is a technical that allows you perform aerial attacks and parry an enemy’s strikes.
I wish I didnt have to come to this conclusion because I really love this title.
Wild Hearts deserves support for all the hard work and clever ideas that the developers have put into it.

One of my hunting colleagues, Jez, preparing to fight the Kemono.

Minato, the last safe haven for humans in Azuma.

When monsters get enraged, they perform a spectacular attack where they transform and transfigure the land around them.

Are you prepared to fight the living personification of nature’s wrath?

Much like my injured hunter at the beginning of the game, Wild Hearts' performance issues breaks my heart.
