But do share one crucial characteristic.
So, here’s a photoshoot and my quick first impressions to slake your nerdy heart’s thirst.

It makes my nerd heart very happy to have both of these laptops on my desk right now.
3, 2025 My full, in-depth review of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i is here!
you’ve got the option to check that out to get all the information you could possibly need.
My ASUS Zenbook A14 review is coming soon.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i 14 (Gen 10) is premium in every sense of the word.
What do I need to know about these two laptops?
This is the laptop that threatens to beat out far more expensive hardware to secure our unwavering recommendation.
There’s also a cheaper configuration withthe new 6-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X series chipseton the way.

This could be one of the best deals of 2025.

What’s the unboxing experience like?
Both only require taking the lid off, and your new laptop will be there in all its glory.

If there’s a clear winner for the best laptop for most people, it’s the Zenbook A14.
Nice and simple, and it’s all sustainable materials on both sides (no plastic, thankfully).
Which laptop has the better display?
It’s also a 14-inch OLED panel, but that’s where the similarities end.

You see, this is a4Kdisplay, and it still runs at a buttery smooth 120Hz.
Otherwise, you get a completely seamless, uninterrupted display with next to no bezels.
Yeah, it looksincredible, and it gets much brighter than I expected.

Both laptops come in a sleek box, but that’s hidden inside the beefy box the laptop will be shipped in (with the charger).
Which laptop is going to last longer on a charge?
Which laptop is the best bang for my buck?
Just like there was an obvious winner with the last section, so too is that true here.

Even the box feels expensive, but the laptop inside really drives that point home.(Image credit: Windows Central | Zachary Boddy)
That price includes the same ultra-light magnesium chassis, OLED display, and true all-day battery life.
Which Lenovo’s laptop doesn’t include.
The ASUS Zenbook A14 (2025) may just usurp the champion in that regard.

Which of these laptops will be the best for me?
Spoiler alert: they don’t cost $1,800.
I’d be an idiot to skip over that last point.

Both of these laptops feature lovely displays, but one clearly takes the cake.
Of course, it’s all moot, considering almost no one will be flipping the coin betweenthesetwo laptops.
Anyway, I’m going to return to my nerd fest over this beautiful hardware.
Watch out for my reviews.

Despite being a little thinner and a lot lighter, the Zenbook A14 has more ports.

The Zenbook A14 actually comes with a shockingly nice sleeve in the box, which I didn’t expect.

If these laptops cost the same, obviously I’d choose the Lenovo… but ASUS made the more appealing laptop for most people.
