However, doing any sort of screen capture isn’t quite as convenient on these little devices.

Here’s what I’ve discovered.

The AVerMedia X’TRA GO GC515 comes in black or white with blue highlights.

Instead of simply being a pass-through dock, X’TRA GO features a capture card inside.

In addition to the dock, you get an HDMI cable, USB-C cable, and USB-C to USB-A cable.

It offers a decent range of ports and doesn’t take up a lot of room.

Due to this, I’ve includedsetup instructions in the section after thisto help you.

One of the things I love most about the X’TRA GO GC515 is how compact it is.

The ports are all clearly labeled, so it’s easy to know where to plug things in.

Meanwhile, the slider on the right switches the machine between Capture Mode and Card Reader Mode.

I found it easier to use the AVerMedia X’TRA GO GC515 with Legion Go if I plugged the USB-C cable into the handheld’s bottom USB-C port.

It then turns blue if I end the recording by pressing the button again.

I did a few different recording sessions while connected to each of my handheld devices.

When I checked these recordings, they were all clean, crisp, and had very smooth capture quality.

On the back, you’ll find three USB-C ports, an HDMI port, two USB-A ports, and a microSD card switch.

The audio was also pretty good.

Here is how to get the GC515 and your gaming handheld set up with this program.

Because of that, handhelds are held up at different angles depending on how thick the casing is.

However, the X’TRA GO is not wide enough to hold the thickerROG Ally Xin place.

This equipment is easy to set up, has HDR processing abilities, and offers VRR passthrough.

As part of its port selection, it has both an SD Card reader and a microSD card reader.

AVerMedia X’TRA GO GC515W: Should you buy it?

It also has a pleasant design that looks good in any gaming den, office, or living room.

They’re a lot cheaper than this unique gear too.

This compact gaming handheld docking station doubles as a capture gear.

It’s available in black or white.

How to Setup AVerMedia X’TRA GO GC515 with OBS Studio - YouTube

ROG Ally X connected to an AVerMedia X’TRA GO docking station, but not in the stand.

While you can stream and record from ROG Ally X, this thicker handheld does not fit in the X’TRA GO GC515’s stand.
