This issue had been building for years to the point Id have to schedule myself for a gaming session.
Yes, weep for me.

The Razer Edge (Wi-Fi) is one of my favorite releases for 2023.
Razers new handheld cloud gaming equipment, aptly namedRazer Edge, is changing everything.
I recently bought the Wi-Fi version early, thanks to Razer rewarding its community of followers.
But heres why I think its different for me.

Touch only? No problem.
That convenience and simplicity are worth it to me.
Theres also the size.
The Razer Edge, by comparison, is much smaller, especially since it comes apart.

The quality and detail on the Razer Edge’s 6.8" AMOLED display combined with Xbox Cloud Gaming for Deathloop is incredible.
And what about the elephant in the room: Cloud gaming?
Ive been usingXbox Cloud Gaming, and Im about to start testing NVIDIAs GeForce NOWpowered by RTX 4080s.
I like it a lot, and choosing between the two servicesis difficult.

Razer does a great job with ergonomics and controls on the Razer Edge.
I started playingStar Wars Jedi Fallen Orderages ago and, like other games, soon forgot about it.
But there it is, in myXbox Game Passlibrary.
I have no latency issues on my 200MB/s down online grid, and everything felt normal.

Valve’s Steam Deck is still awesome.
(Ill also be testing the Verizon 5G version of the Razer Edge shortly.)
Im not alone in this revelation.
Our staff writer Zachary Boddy wrote a recent article describing howthey now believe in cloud gamingafterreviewing Logitechs G-Cloud.

They do a better job of explaining the revelation, so give it a read.
Thats an acceptable solution for many if it works for you.
But for the reasons explained above, I enjoy having a gear built only for gaming.

I find that important.
The size and ergonomics are great, and the display is magnificent, the stereo audio speakers are superb.
I wont throw shade on Valves Steam Deck, either.

And games simply look better on the Razer Edge.
Like all things in life, the important lesson is finding the path that works for you.
Now excuse me while I relax and play someLego Star Wars.
