It’s comfortable, sounds good, and has plenty of features.
It’s on the small side, though, and the mic is barely average in quality.
There are inevitable compromises thanks to that low price point, but RIG mostly cuts the right corners here.

It’s a very simple unboxing experience for this headset, and there isn’t much in the way of extras in the box.

The retail price of the RIG 600 Pro HX is$99.99 at Amazon.

The company has a very distinct, consistent design language that continues with the 600 Pro HX.
This is an all-plastic headset with simple fabric padding and headset controls aligned along one side.
The mic is flip-to-mute and neatly stashes itself inside the headset when not in use.

The 600 Pro HX looks a lot like other RIG headsets — Simple, plastic, and strangely textured.
RIG’s three-tier snap adjustment system returns again, and it’s still too limited and unintuitive.
Even at its largest, this headset is still on the small side.
It’s still a good-sounding headset especially when you’re gaming.

The fabric isn’t the softest, but these are still comfortable cushions.
It’s clear and detailed, andDolby Atmosbeing included does lead to improved surround sound.

Fortunately, RIG did a good job balancing endurance with weight here.

The RIG 600 Pro HX sounds quite good for the price range, especially when gaming with Dolby Atmos.
This feels a little optimistic to me, but only slightly.
15-20 hours of solid usage is very possible with this headset, no matter how you’re using it.
I wish RIG had included the classic audio jack here.

This mic is short and average in quality, but at least it can be neatly stashed away.
Its headlining feature is, of course, its multi-gear wireless connectivity.
Bluetooth 5.1 is also solid, with the headset able to connect to your phone for calls simultaneously.
No, there is no simultaneous audio mixing.

All the headset controls are lined up on the left earcup, next to the USB Type-C charging port.
Fortunately, it’s easy and quick to switch wireless modes with the dedicated button.
The RIG 600 Pro Navigator is also surprisingly good.
In my opinion, though, there’s one clear, direct competitor to the RIG 600 Pro HX.

This headset isn’t packed with extra features, but dual wireless connectivity is enough to make it stand out.
You should not buy this if …

Competition is stiff in this price range, but the RIG 600 Pro HX is a compelling option.

The RIG 600 Pro HX from NACON offers a balance between price, quality, and features that make it one of the best sub-$100 wireless gaming headsets.
