The design is practically identical, and you’re not missing out on any of the advanced controls.
I’ve personally tested peripherals from companies including Microsoft, Razer, GameSir, PowerA, and more.
This review was made possible thanks to a review sample provided by Razer.

The Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition is 95% of the Wolverine V3 Pro for 50% of the price, and that alone will sell it.
The company had no input nor saw the contents of this review prior to publication.
It offers almost the exact same experience as the V3 Pro for half the price.
I’ll be keeping this short to avoid retreading the same paths.

The Wolverine V3 TE is practically indistinguishable from its more premium sibling.
The same caveats are here, too, like the too-large trigger housing that negatively impacts the ergonomics.
That means you’re getting all of the same premium controller features.

This controller really is packed with features, and the controls are some of the best on any peripheral.
This controller ispackedwith features, and many of them you just won’t find anywhere else.
Razer calls the Wolverine V3 “the esports controller” for a reason.
With the Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition, I find myself in a familiar place.

I actually prefer the matte buttons on the Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition, but in most ways these two controllers are almost identical.
However, the Wolverine V3 TE has two new issues of its own.
For one, the rumble motors in this controller arerough.
They rattle with a high-pitched whine and just don’t feel good.

This cable is fine 99% of the time, but that 1% really stands out when this is a “esports” controller.
This cable isn’t Razer’s normal, high-quality braided affair, and feels cheap.
As a complete package, this controller easily outperforms the de facto default Xbox Wireless Controller.
Oh, did the designs of my Razer Wolverine V3 controllers catch your attention throughout this review?

The Razer Wolverine V3 Tournament Edition is a pretty easy recommendation, but there’s room for Razer to improve it in the future.
