It may not feature the most technically impressive graphics, but I love the style in The Lost Crown.
What is Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
It’s not a perfect game, but it’s still a lot of fun.
I still really enjoy the look and feel of this game, though.

It may not feature the most technically impressive graphics, but I love the style in The Lost Crown.
There are also certain animations and cinematics that frankly look stunning.
Performance is also excellent.
The game was always perfectly smooth and responsive, which is important for such a precise and challenging platformer.

You’ll need to upgrade your gear as well as your weapons to succeed… Just don’t expect little Sargon here to animate much.
I largely enjoyed it, but I did feel that several story beats didn’t land.
There are lots of boss fights, but even basic enemies can put up epic fights.
Platforming sections progressively become more technical, complex, and precise as the game goes on.

Exploration to find power-ups, new abilities, and more requires skill in both combat and platforming to succeed.
Button mashing, using multiple buttons at once, and more are all necessary.
Localization support is also quite good.

Even so, the finished product surprised me with its diversity, challenge, and engaging world.
Minor flaws and issues aside, The Lost Crown is an excellent addition to the Metroidvania genre.
It thoroughly engages with its meticulous combat and platforming, and surprises with its epic and engrossing narrative.

A screenshot can’t properly convey the majesty and wonder of this region, a war-torn and storm-blasted ocean frozen in time.

These are The Immortals, and each warrior will play an important role in the story. I liked them all, even if some deserved more time in the spotlight.

The game may be simple at the beginning, but it progressively becomes more challenging over time. I enjoyed that challenge, but there are options to tailor it to every player’s needs.

Sargon is an intelligent, compassionate, and highly skilled warrior, and I hope this is one of many adventures for him.
