Windows Central Verdict

The OBSBOT Tiny 2 is almost everything I could ever need from a webcam.

I only wish it had Windows Hello support, considering how expensive the Tiny 2 is.

Before reviewing the OBSBOT Tiny 2, I didn’t know that webcams could be this good.

A quality carrying case for your Tiny 2, its compact magnetic stand, and all the cables you need.

However, OBSBOT knows what it has because the Tiny 2 is a phenomenal product.

Other bundles include optional accessories, which are all boxed separately.

Tolerances for construction are obviously very tight, with extremely fine seams and connections everywhere you look.

This design is great, and the build quality is just as awesome. I’m especially a fan of the clever magnetic stand.

The basic design is simple.

I have no complaints here.

Excellent work, OBSBOT; this is a very cleverly designed webcam.

A 2-axis gimbal means the Tiny 2 can physically track you across the room.

Everything works as it should, with the Tiny 2 being almost effortless to use after the initial setup.

But you’ll also be spending a lot more.

You also get the mics, which isn’t actually a guarantee, even for premium webcams.

Those are forgivable compromises, though.

What’s less great is how lackluster the AI background noise cancellation is for the Tiny 2’s mics.

Every keyboard clack, seat adjustment, random noise, and everything else appeared on recordings.

To begin with, the OBSBOT WebCam is easy to navigate and use and is responsive every time.

Let’s move on to the app’s features because there are alot.

Various filters can subtly change the color profile and feel of the Tiny 2’s image with surprising effectiveness.

The microphone on the Tiny 2 is a little forgettable… But check out this sweet smart remote.

So the software is great, but what about the accessories?

I’ll just go in order.

There’s even a built-in laser to help with whiteboard presentations.

When the Tiny 2 is asleep, it tucks its camera away for your privacy (and disables the microphones, unless you purposefully give the Tiny 2 permission for voice controls).

No complaints here the remote does exactly what it’s designed to.

The Extendable Tripod is also a high-quality accessory.

I quite like the OBSBOT software — it’s easy to use and filled with features.

The legs are easily removable.

Finally, I was unable to properly test the HQ Mic, unfortunately.

Few properly compete at this price point, but there are several worth considering.

If I made this tripod as tall as it can go, I wouldn’t have been able to fit it in the image.

The Razer Kiyo Pro Ultra is another $300 webcam, and its biggest strength is sheer visual fidelity.

None of these webcams support Windows Hello biometric authentication, though.

This is for those who need a webcam practically every day.

There are lots of premium webcams out there, but none offer exactly the kind of experience the Tiny 2 does.

You’re looking for a portable webcam with solid accessory support.

The OBSBOT Tiny 2 is made to be portable.

The Tiny 2 is more expensive than casual users need to pay.

Insta360 Link - PTZ 4K Webcam…

I daresay it may be thebestwebcam on the market for alotof people.

If the Tiny 2 supported biometric authentication, it’d nearly be the perfect webcam.

For the professionals and creators, though, the Tiny 2 is awesome.
