On Xbox, you’ll be able to download Minecraft between Oct. 8 at 1:00 p.m.
ET and Oct. 16 at 5:00 p.m. Like everyone else, though, you’ll still need to sign in with a Microsoft Account.

Stylish and dapper, even in the harshest of environments.
Well apparently, Zachary can resist, because they voted for the Armadillo.
Alright, that last part is a joke.Mostly a joke.
I’m not going to fight my colleague Jennifer, though.
Still, choosing between these three mobs is a tough choice for anyone.
All three are adorable and bring a unique feature to Minecraft.
So, let’s summarize each one to (hopefully) make the choice a little easier for you.
First up is the Crab.
Voting has now opened for this year’s Mob Vote. So… Go do that thing.
That’s enough right there to earn a lot of votes.
The Armadillo is my personal vote this year.

Here are my official predictions for what you can expect from Minecraft Live 2023.
Finally, we have the Penguin.
They are indeed proper little gentlepenguins, but I still made the right choice (Sorry, Jen).
It’s purple, it’s creeper-y, and it’s amazing.
Sadly, PlayStation players may have to go elsewhere to submit their votes.
There’s even a matching sparkly cape.
So, which mob will you vote for?
This year, theMinecraft Live 2023 Mob Vote has been hit with massive backlash from the community.
Joining Minecraft servers without an online subscription is like rowing a boat through a savannah… But not right now.
Players are asking that Mojang Studios either end the Mob Vote entirely, or change how it’s done.
They’re small freebies, for sure, but give you more ways to customize your Minecraft character.

Yay, the Minecraft Live 2023 Mob Vote is back!
It’ll be interesting to see what role the pop artist will play in Minecraft Live.
Will we get a live performance from him during the show?
I have to admit, I’d definitely be excited for that.

I’m a fan of Benjamin’s music, so that’s probably not too surprising.
Well, we probably won’t seeanyof this, but it’s nice to dream.
The Bedrock Edition needs a serious update to help it dynamically adapt to the hardware it’s running on.

It’s an exciting day for Minecraft players.

2023 has been an incredible year for video games in general, leaving no room for less-than-stellar releases.
Now, we know that the journey is far from over for Minecraft Legends.

Unfortunately, it earned the least number of votes and is the first to lose the Mob Vote.

Basically, two major new features have been revealed: Trial Chambers and the Crafter.
There’s even a new mob as a part of both Trial Chambers and Spawners the Breeze.
These projecticles even interact with certain blocks, activating traps around you.

The second major feature?
The Crafter, a new tool that will allow redstone engineers to, you guessed it,automate crafting.
It’s something the community has been requesting for years, and Mojang Studios is finally making it happen.
Rejoice, redstone engineers — automated crafting is coming to Minecraft.
Today, Mojang Studios confirmed thatMinecraft recently crossedover 300 million copies sold.
It’s a big year for Minecraft.

The wait is over!
Trial Chambers are for the players that love adventure and combat.
The winner of the Minecraft Live 2023 Mob Vote is the… Armadillo!
The Penguin lost first, and the Crab lost second.
That means the winner is… the Armadillo!
This Mob Vote was closer than some, with the winner walking away with over 40% of the votes.
The Armadillo will be added to Minecraft in a future update, likely as a part of Minecraft 1.21.
I wish we could’ve seen all mobs added together, but the Armadillo was my first pick.
It’s just so darn cute.
Soon, you’ll be able to play with the Breeze.
I hope to see similar spectacles from Minecraft Live in the future.
