Insiders in the Canary Channel can now installWindows 11 Build 25921.
Starting with this build, it’s possible to uninstall Cortana.
Microsoft isdeprecating the old virtual assistantand replacing it withWindows Copilot.
The option to uninstall Cortana is the next step on that journey.
First double-check your gadget has an HDR display or is connected to a HDR display that supports HDR.
you could check this by going to controls > System > Display and checking the HDR toggle.
Next, download an HDR .JXR file to your gear.
You candownload example .JXR files hereto try this experience out on your HDR-capable machine/display.
The background should load on your display.
When using external displays attached to your gear, we recommend running theHDR Calibration appfor best picture quality.
Additionally, when right-clicking on cloud file recommendations, there is now an option to quickly share these files.
