That setup process can be frustrating, though, and you’re paying extra for the multiplatform features.
It’s incredibly convenient once you set it up, but that process can be frustrating.
I’ve been using the Logitech Astro A50 X as my primary gaming headset for weeks.

It’s not the most obviously premium headset, but its advanced capabilities justify its high cost.
Here are my thoughts.
This review was made possible with a review sample provided by Logitech.
The company did not see the contents of the review before publishing.

Unfortunately, you don’t geteverythingyou need in the box.
It’s expensive, but worth it.
Fortunately, the earcup cushions are attached via simple magnets and can be easily replaced.

It’s a mixture of matte and glossy plastic, with a little bit of metal.
The controls are intuitive, as well, with all buttons aligned on the back of the right earcup.
The right earcup is actually a large rocker for adjusting the voice and game audio mix.
This all works really well, and the Astro A50 X doesn’t fail at any of the basics.

Great sound quality and comfy cushions, although you can see they attract all the hair and dust in the area.
It’s well-designed, built to last, and is comfortable to wear.
When you put the headset on, it does deliver… Mostly.
Still, I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed by this microphone.

Surprisingly one of the best microphones I’ve used in a gaming headset.
It only connects to its docking station, which handles all the wireless and wired connections.
When you’re fully set up, the docking station handles all wireless connections.
It’s all very impressive, and works mostly seamlessly.

That’s a lot of ports for one headset.
you could also connect to Bluetooth simultaneously, using the Astro A50 X for calls or chat while gaming.
However, wireless connectivity isn’t flawless.
I had many instances of wireless interference, distortion, and sound cut-out when using the Astro A50 X.

The odd combo power/PC split cable that comes in the box.
No, no it is not.
Just something to be aware of.
Astro A50 X review: Competition
There’s no headset quite like the Logitech Astro A50 X. However, mostgamers don’t need those multiplatform features.

All the headset controls are located on one side.
But also the kind you probably won’t buy.
), then the Astro A50 X is almost unbeatable.
For the rest of use, you might get more value out of a more traditional gaming headset.

A simple LED screen on the front of the dock gives you some helpful information.
you’re able to buy the Logitech Astro A50 X right now for$379.99 at LogitechorAmazon.

The Astro A50 X makes the BlackShark V2 Pro look like a great value, but that headset also can’t connect to all your gaming platforms simultaneously.

Logitech made an excellent headset for a small group of people.
