Alternatively, putting it in a carrying case can take up a lot of room in my luggage.

The ModCase comes with a removable hard shell cover that protects the joysticks and screen in transit.
This helped create one of the most convenient handheld experiences I’ve had to date.
Here’s what’s so great about this accessory.
This review was made possible thanks to a review unit provided by JSAUX.

The JSAUX ModCase package gives you the protective casing, front cover, installation stickers, removable kickstand, battery pack strap, and manual.

JSAUX ModCase for ROG Ally X - What’s in the box?

The JSAUX ModCase provides an effective but slim layer of protection for your ROG Ally or ROG Ally X.
It also gives you a removable kickstand.
For one thing, installation only took a few seconds.

This kickstand attachment holds my Ally X up at various angles without falling under the pressure of the handheld.
Additionally, the kickstand can be folded up when I don’t want to use it.
Because of this design, it stays out of my way better than some other built-in kickstands out there.

Before boarding my plane for my work trip, I swapped the kickstand attachment for the battery pack strap.
The 20,000mAh battery pack itself is a good shape and easily tucks behind the handheld.
It features two USB-A out ports as well as a USB-C in/out port.

Since it is such a snug fit, it can be tricky to do.
Aside from that, using the Portable Charging Kit obviously adds more weight to the handheld.
It’s not the worst, but that can feel hefty and straining for some.

dBrand Killswitch for ROG Ally X is very similar in design to the JSAUX ModCase.

I felt more comfortable slipping the ROG Ally X into my luggage with the ModCase’s front cover in place.
