This review was made possible thanks to a review sample provided by HP and HyperX.
HP had no input nor saw the contents of this review prior to publication.
It’s a right-handed symmetrical design constructed entirely of matte plastic.

Compact, sustainable packaging, a 2-year warranty, and niceties like a long, braided cable, USB extension adapter, and optional grip tape are all great, I just wish the glass skates were also included.
The charging port is exactly where you’d expect it, right at the front.
It’s a nice addition.
Indeed, the Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro’s tracking was impeccably smooth and accurate for me.

I actually don’t mind the slightly uncommon grey colorway, but I wish there were brighter options.
For me, that estimation felt accurate, with the Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro never suddenly dying on me.
Does it make a difference?
If you’re noticing low availability, you’re free to alsofind them for$19.99 at HP.

HyperX’s software is basic, but it gets the job done.
In basically every category, it’s a fantastic and trustworthy product.
If this mouse is guilty of any sin, it’s the sin of being safe and boring.
Even the flat, grey color is boring.

The glass skates are an optional upgrade, not something preinstalled on this higher-end mouse.(Image credit: Windows Central | Zachary Boddy)
When that mouse costs $30 less, why wouldn’t you just do that?
you’re free to also often find this mouse on sale, making it an even better deal.
Should you buy the HyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro?

It does make a substantial difference, though, again posing the question: Why don’t these just come on the Haste 2 Pro?(Image credit: Windows Central | Zachary Boddy)
Unless you’re adamant about having 4,000Hz polling, probably not.
For most, the standard Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro costs $30 less and feels like the better deal.
This mouse is in a weird spot.

It’s difficult to find criticisms to levy against this mouse, but you should still probably buy the regular Haste 2 instead.
If you want theHyperX Pulsefire Haste 2 Pro, it can be yours for$119.99 at Amazon.

The Pulsefire Haste 2 is one of the best mice you can buy, and the Pro is that but a little better (and a fair bit pricier).
