What you should probably know
We knew it was coming.
In fact, we already knew a fair deal about it fromIntel’s teasing earlier this year.

New devices powered by Core Ultra series 2 should be more powerful and last longer.
Performance has seen a notable increase across the board, but efficiency is also significantly improved.
The new Xe2 GPUs also have full support forMicrosoft’s DirectX 12 Ultimate gaming suite.
AMD has already shown its answer, and now we have Intel’s.

The 200V-series of chips feature a massively upgraded NPU with up to 4 times the performance.
Intel Core Ultra Series 2 is about future-proofing, setting up new devices to remain competitive for years.
Of course, I also expect the SKUs to vary wildly in pricing.

New devices powered by Core Ultra series 2 should be more powerful and last longer.
Right now, the race seems too close to call.

Intel is also promising improved graphical performance on top of superior efficiency, including when rendering and decoding 4K files.

AI is, as always, a huge focus for these new chips.
