Elden Ring: What are Stonesword Keys?
These keys unlock myriad secrets in Elden Ring.
Stonesword Keys are a rare resource used in Elden Ring to open up secrets locked by Imp Statues.
There’s a wide range of things these statues can lock.
Some bar off optional bosses or entire new side areas on the map.
These keys unlock myriad secrets in Elden Ring.
Others simply provide access to a new item or piece of equipment.
Imp Statue locks come in a couple of varieties.
If you see only one of the two Imps on the statue lit, it only requires one key.

If both Imps are lit up, then it’ll require two keys.
However, you might’t use one key on a statue, requiring two to partially remove the lock.
just keep in mind that once you use a Stonesword Key, that’s it.
This southern bridge is easy to locate.
The keys can only be used once each.
Take your time and think on it.
There are a few different ways to get Stonesword Keys, which I’ve listed below for your perusal.
A short ways beyond the bridge.
One of the items you could choose as a starting gift is anextra two Stonesword Keys.
This merchant sells alone Stonesword Key for 2,000 Runes.
While you might only grab one, this is a decent price, so it’s worth picking up.
A magic merchant north of Stormveil.
You’ll need to hop on rooftops, starting at theRampart Tower Site of Graceand going up from there.
This merchant sellsfour Stonesword Keys for 3,000 Runeseach.
so you can acquire that key, you’ll have to either run past orfight a dragonto get it.
Raya Lucaria Academy
A Stonesword Key can be found on the fountain in Raya Lucaria Academy.
Go where the wind takes you, and you’ll have enough Stonesword Keys in no time!
