During theQuakeCon 2024kick-off livestream, id Softwareannouncedthat DOOM Eternal is getting official mod support.
To join the DOOM Eternal mod preview on Steam, you’ll need to select DOOM Eternal.
Over four years after launch, players can easily upload and download mods for DOOM Eternal.
ClickProperties, then theBetastab.
Choosepc-mod-previewfrom the menu, then wrap up the window.
Alternatively, to join the preview on the Microsoft Store, you’ll need to launch theXbox Insider Hub.
It’s easy to hop in and try out some mods.
From there, go toPreviews, thenDOOM Eternal, and thenPC Mod Preview.
That’s not going to change next year either, withDOOM: The Dark Ageson the way.
Hopefully we’ll be learning more soon,because I can’t stop thinking about that reveal trailer.
