Can laptops with USB4 ports use Thunderbolt 4/5 docks?
The answer is fortunately positive, but unfortunately convoluted in the same way that the rest of theUSBformat is.

Unfortunately, it kind of depends on your laptop manufacturer.

That’s a USB4 port, and it should support Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 accessories!

The ROG Zephyrus G14 is AMD-powered so there are no Thunderbolt ports, but it can still use this UGREEN dock.

USB is a mess, but at least it’s all one connector type now.
