This review was made possible thanks to a review sample provided by ASUS.

The jump from the standard 27-inches to 31.5-inches is a large one.

I’ll update this section once I know.
It’s not perfect, but this is a great gaming monitor.

It’s a sleek, matte black, and metal, with a protruding custom heatsink on the rear.
There’s threaded mounting support, too.
This is the best monitor forgamingI have ever used.

This is a very thin monitor with a custom heatsink attached to the rear, and it all feels premium.
It’s unpredictable and inconsistent, but it happens.
The helpful USB hub works great…
When it’s on.

No matter which color profile I choose, the PG32UCDM falls just short of the promised 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
Most of the time, you’ll be asked if it’s a good time to do it…
But sometimes it’ll just happen randomly and with no warning.

You can control the ROG Swift OLED 32 with this joystick and buttons, and it works decently well.(Image credit: Windows Central | Zachary Boddy)
Performance is impeccable, at least I can’t find any fault there.
Is it worth it?
I think so, but whether that’s true for you will depend on your needs.

The ASUS DisplayWidget Center is a decent bit of software, but it also contributes to some of the frustrations with using this monitor day to day.

I didn’t use the ROG Swift OLED with its included stand, but it’s a familiar one to me from previous ASUS monitors — it’s dependable, and doesn’t take up an absurd amount of space.

There is a difference between “favorite” and “best,” and the ROG Swift OLED 32 is more of the former than the latter.
