One method for this is to Strengthen the Flame at your bases Flame Altar, leveling it up.
The timer at the top of the screen shows you how long you can stay in the Shroud before dying.
This, among other things, permanently raises your max Shroud timer by a minute.

A similar skill youll be able to get later is Relentless Flames, which adds five minutes.
Shroud Survival Flasks can be found in chests in the early game, and later, you’ll be able to craft them.
Lastly, you’re able to also drink a Shroud Survival Flask potion before (not after!)
entering the Shroudto add two minutes to your max timer.
The effect lasts for 45 minutes, andthe potion itself can sometimes be found in chests.
Many Enshrouded fights involve multiple foes.
You’ll also get plenty of Runes by Salvaging old or unwanted weapons taken from corpses and loot containers.
Make a second base and abuse fast travel
Fast travel is extremely useful in Enshrouded.
These include beds, tables, fireplaces, chairs, benches, and illumination objects like candles or torches.
This fully upgraded Legendary Mace crushed most of the early game — literally.

If you’re not going to use a weapon, Salvage it for Runes. This is one of the best ways to get them.
You can build Flame Altars in existing structures like these, which essentially turns it into your base instantly.
Sparks are hard to come by, but many other materials needed for Strengthening the Flame are quite common.
Kicking back for that sweet, sweet buff.
Roofed shelter, a nice fire, and some furniture is ultimately all you need.
